Tour A Highlights of Kenmare & Killarney. Sunday & Thursday

Our Tour today begins with a visit to the picturesque and famous town of Kenmare, gold medallist in Ireland’s Tidy Towns competition, also one of the natural unspoilt environments of the world. You will have time to walk around the town, have a cup of coffee and maybe take a photograph.

We join the famous Ring of Kerry and enjoy what must be the highlight of this famous journey, the panorama of the Killarney Lakes from Ladies View. From here a short and dramatic drive to the National Park and Muckross House. Here you may visit this special museum house (charge) or enjoy the beautiful gardens and treks in the national park.

A visit to the town of Killarney, probably Ireland’s premier tourist location, where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of this engaging and refreshing town. A memorable stop to conclude this day’s tour.

Tour B Highlights of West Cork Tour. Tuesdays & Fridays

Our tour to West Cork offers you a very particular aspect of Ireland. Your tour travels through the heart of the countryside and the sleepy villages of Inchigeela and the Gaeltacht village of Ballingeary. Our first stop is the tranquil Gougane Barra, where St. Finbarr founded a small monastery in the 6th Century.

Experience the peace and serenity of this beautiful lakeside retreat. A place apart. On the picturesque area of Glengarriff which overlooks Bantry Bay. See the mussel farms and learn of the French visit.

An optional afternoon ferry trip via a seal-populated island brings you to the lovely Garnish Island (charge) where the Gulf Stream nurtures a sub-tropical garden and lush trees from warmer countries. You visit the quaint town of Bantry, enjoy a relaxing walk and a cup of coffee after this fulfilling day.
